The Swedish Finn Historical Society has made a significant discovery from the recently digitized death register by The Seattle Times. We have identified approximately 130 Finnish emigrants who passed away at Northern State Hospital. Notably, the Swedish Finn Historical Society was cited in a recent Seattle Times article, as part of their Northern State Hospital series. Additionally, The Seattle Times has requested our research for follow-up articles.
We’ve compiled a spreadsheet containing details about potential Finnish emigrants who died at Northern State Hospital. We invite all our dedicated genealogy enthusiasts to join us in this meaningful research effort. By shedding light on the stories of these 130 individuals who have long been overlooked, participating genealogists could see their research featured in The Seattle Times. Your contribution to this endeavor would be greatly appreciated.
