Membership matters

In 1922, Ted, Edgar, and John Ostrand were captured in a photograph haying at the end of Manzanita Bay, Washington. This cherished image, sent to us by the Skog family in Pörtom, Finland, connects us to our past. Matt Skog, John’s brother, shared this piece of history, and today, the Ostrand family continues to be proud members of the Swedish Finn Historical Society.

At the Swedish Finn Historical Society, our mission is to foster connections with Finland and preserve the rich legacy of our Swedish Finn ancestors. Membership is the cornerstone of this mission—without our members, we couldn’t continue our vital work. We are deeply grateful to our members for their ongoing support.

Levels of Membership

  • Individual $55 / year
