How to Gift a Subscription
Gifting is a simple way to share our membership with others. Here is how the process works for both the purchaser and the recipient:
1. Simple Checkout
When purchasing a subscription as a gift, you only need to provide your own payment details and the recipient’s email address. You will see an overview at the end of the order confirming which products were purchased for whom.
2. Recipient Account Setup
- New Accounts: If the recipient doesn’t have an account yet, one will be created for them automatically.
- Email Notification: They will receive an email with instructions on how to set their password and log in to the Member Portal.
- Address Details: Upon their first login, they will be prompted to enter their shipping address (if applicable).
3. Privacy & Subscription Management
Both you and the recipient can manage the subscription through the My Account > View Subscription page, but with strict privacy rules:
- For the Recipient: They can view and manage the service, but they will never see the product price, billing information, or related orders. This ensures your gift remains private.
- For the Purchaser: You maintain full access to the billing history and renewal details. Your name will appear on the related orders to indicate that you are the sponsor of the subscription.
4. Shared Control
Throughout the subscription life-cycle, both parties have the access needed to ensure the service runs smoothly through their respective Member Portals.
