Mikko Himanka submitted this to Karebynejden No., 38, 2006. He noted that the Russians probably burned the little wooden Finnish church that stood near the Karleby church. He thinks a memorial should be raised for the eighty-one prisoners. To learn the fate of the prisoners, he suggests reading the Finnish book “Viha”, by docent Kustaa H. J. Vilkuna (ISBN 951-746-784-2)
