He and Anna were married in Sweetwater. Wyoming in 1898 and later moved to Rochester where he built a wonderful home and ran the Jaaska store at Helsing Junction. Anton Jaaska lived with them for several years. Alex sponsored his nephew and family (Alex and Anna) and the children from Finland and they lived next door.
